Creatives (Moderation)

There are several types of moderation of HTML banner creatives

  • T - Trading Desk - Trading Desk moderation,
  • G - Google - Google moderation.

Yandex HTML creatives are moderated by Yandex.

Below you can find a more detailed description of all creative moderation types.

The Moderation section is located in the upper right corner of the creative preview page:

TD moderation

TD moderation is moderation by Trading Desk managers

There are the following moderation types available:

  • Confirmed - moderation was successful,
  • Rejected - moderation request was rejected
  • On moderation - creative is currently being moderated on the Trading Desk side,
  • Not ready for moderation - it is needed to fill in the fields in the creative settings.

If the creative is not ready for moderation, then you need to fill in the following fields:

  • Banner HTML code,
  • Creative dimensions: width and height,
  • Navigation link,
  • Destination domain,
  • IAB category,
  • Language.

If the fields listed above are filled in, you can submit creative for moderation in accordance with corresponding moderation type by clicking the appropriate button

Google moderation

Possible moderation statuses:

  • Not ready for moderation - you need to fill in the fields in the creative settings,
  • Ready for moderation - all required fields are filled in,
  • Creative processing - the creative is currently being moderated by Google,
  • Creative is allowed everywhere - moderation was successful and the display regions are specified,
  • Creative is allowed everywhere except Russia - moderation was successful and the display regions are specified,
  • Rejected - moderation request was rejected, all possible reasons for the creative rejection (DISAPPROVED) are specified in the Google documentation.

If the creative is not ready for moderation, then you need to fill in the following fields:

  • advertiser name (it should be filled in the ad campaign or in the creative settings). If you specify the name of an advertiser in the ad campaign, then it will automatically appear in the Advertiser name field
  • Banner HTML code
  • Creative dimensions: width and height
  • Navigation link
  • Destination domain.

If the fields listed above are filled in, you can submit creative for moderation in accordance with corresponding moderation type by clicking the appropriate button.

Yandex moderation

Possible moderation statuses:

  • Creative has been sent,
  • Creative processing,
  • Rejected,
  • Confirmed,
  • Ready for moderation,
  • Not ready for moderation.

If the creative is not ready for moderation, then you need to fill in the following fields:

  • Link to the archive,
  • Link to the blank image,
  • Alternative text,
  • Yandex brand,
  • Yandex categories,
  • Navigation link,
  • Destination domain.

Please note that errors may occur when submitting a creative for Yandex moderation. For example, you have entered an incorrect Yandex brand etc. The error text will be displayed immediately after submitting a creative for moderation in the widget.
